KIDS CORNER!
BRILLIANT BUDDIES!!!! 
We are so lucky in Prep this year because we have Brilliant grade 5 and 6 Buddies with whom we learn, laugh and play. We meet every week and participate in activities which help us socialise and learn with older students, and we love it! On Friday the 14th of August our grade 5 buddies took us out into the beautiful sunshine and we traced each other with colourful chalk on the basketball court. We measured and compared our gorgeous silhouettes to see how many of our ‘feet’ and ‘hands’ we were. They looked sensational, and the atmosphere was positively buzzing!
Then we had a few relays of ‘Tunnel Ball’ and ‘Over Under’, (which was quite a challenge with some of the height differences!!).
Some of the other activities we have done with our 5/6 Buddies this term have been
Ø Making ‘Funny Face’ biscuits with icing and yummy lollies!
Ø Sketching each other with pencils. These can be seen on the pin board in the 5/6 corridor!
Ø Reading picture story books and drawing the beginning, middle and end of the stories.
Our Buddies are always so responsible and helpful to us in many ways. They teach us about friendliness and that you can have friends of different ages. They show us respect through their patience and kindness and they make us feel happy!
We love spending time with our Buddies and as you can see from our photos, we have a fantastic time together!
